Frequently Asked Questions .
We’ve got Answers !
What subjects do you offer tutoring in?
We provide tutoring across a wide range of subjects for UK, US, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand curricula — including GCSE, A-Level, IB, AP, SAT, SHSAT, OSSLT, NCEA, and more.
You can explore all available subjects on the Invision Subjects Page, where you can search by subject, country, or exam board.
If you don’t see your subject listed, you can still contact us. We regularly assign specialist tutors for less common subjects and will do our best to match you with a suitable tutor.
How do the free 3 weeks of tuition work?
Students receive full access to our premium group lessons for three weeks. This includes structured teaching, live explanations, written solutions, exam-style practice, and personalised feedback — completely free.
After the taster period, you can choose whether to continue with the programme.
Are lessons online, in person, or both?
We offer both online and in-person tuition.
Online lessons are delivered through secure platforms such as ClassIn, Zoom, or Skype.
In-person sessions are available in selected locations depending on tutor availability.
What is the difference between group lessons and one-to-one lessons?
Group lessons are structured, collaborative classes with small student numbers, designed to maximise interaction and support.
One-to-one lessons are fully personalised and tailored to the student’s individual needs, learning pace, and goals.
How do you match students with tutors?
We match students based on subject, exam board, learning style, personality, and tutor expertise.
Every tutor must meet Invision Tutors’ standards through subject testing, DBS background checks, reference checks, lesson trials, and formal training.
What ages and levels do you teach?
We teach students from ages 7–18, covering primary, secondary, GCSE, A-Level, IB, and international equivalents.
We also support learners 18+, including:
✔ University admissions preparation
✔ University-level tutoring
✔ Essay and academic skills coaching
✔ Adult English, Maths, and skills-based tuition
Invision Tutors offers programmes for learners of all ages.
